Let me introduce myself:
Hi, I'm Linda Verschuren. Although I've had a Chamber of Commerce number since 2009, alongside my teaching job, I didn't really feel like an entrepreneur. I grew up in a village in Brabant and was taught that "normal" was fun and crazy enough.
In 2014, I was living the "nice, normal picture" with a steady job, my partner, and three boys, including identical twins. We had the security, the income, the house, a clear work/life balance, and lived in a pleasant, green village.
But an intense experience upon the arrival of my twins had shaken me, deep inside, and the feeling that I wanted to live life, my life, and not what others expected of me, grew stronger and stronger. My bigger dreams were increasingly surfacing, and that clashed more and more with reality.
Long story short, I finally took the plunge and quit my job without knowing what I was going to do. It finally gave me a sense of freedom and opportunity to forge my own path. It got me where I am now, but it wasn't the fastest and certainly not the easiest path.
Because despite my knowledge as an entrepreneur, teacher, therapist, and coach, I still had my limitations. Again, through the children ("Mom, why don't adults play anymore?"), I gained a valuable insight:
I was still mostly in my head. And secretly, that wasn't really working.
What else was possible?
After a period of soul searching, I discovered who I am on a deeper level, what my mission and strength are. I realized why all the courses, training, and books hadn't gotten me where I truly wanted to be. They were missing one element: Me. My essence. My reality, my knowing, my awareness. So that I can always play with what is light for me.
Finding this missing ingredient accelerated everything. In my life, as a mother, wife, and entrepreneur, I grew and achieved the freedom, satisfaction, and success of ever-expanding dreams and ambitions.
